Initially intended to be a twenty-minute horror game, the developers continued to expand the game into an alternate reality game (ARG) involving cryptic messages and secret passcodes.
A card is dealt from the deck, and any player that has the picture of that card on their board puts a bean on it. The pattern to win (a column or a row) is determined at the beginning of each round. Once one player makes that pattern, they shout Loteria" (hit the Loteria button on Google's version) and win the game.
The game features a fun and colorful version of the classic Lotera game, which players can enjoy online. The gameplay is simple and intuitive, with players using their mouse or touch screen to select and mark off the different cards on their game board.
